ChromeOS Components
ChromeOS has several modular components that can be updated independently of the core ChromeOS operating system. These components are updated in the background and generally do not require any actions of the user to remain up to date. Using an internal Chrome URI, users can manually check the versions of these components and even force updates.
Accessing the ChromeOS Component Manager
In order to access the ChromeOS Component Manager, launch a new instance of the Chrome and enter the following URI into the address bar.
