Bluetooth Accessories
ChromeOS works with several third-party Bluetooth accessories, including:
Bluetooth Audio Devices
ChromeOS supports all standard Bluetooth audio devices including Bluetooth headphones, Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth speakers and Bluetooth receivers. Pairing a Bluetooth audio device with your ChromeOS Device is simple and done in the same way that you would do with a mobile phone.
Bluetooth Keyboards
ChromeOS will work with any third-party Bluetooth keyboard, even those made for Windows, MacOS, iOS or Android.
Bluetooth Mice
ChromeOS will work with any third-party Bluetooth mouse, trackballs or touchpads.
Bluetooth Game Pads/Controllers
ChromeOS will work with several third-party Bluetooth game controllers or game pads. Officially, Google recommends using a Microsoft XBox controller for best compatibility; however, most Bluetooth controllers will work.
Bluetooth MFA Security Devices
ChromeOS has support for select MFA devices that support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Authentication.
Bluetooth Accessory Battery Display
ChromeOS will display the battery percentage on any supported device including headphones, keyboards and mice in the Bluetooth Settings section of the ChromeOS Settings Application as well as the ChromeOS system tray. Not all Bluetooth accessories support the ability to communicate their battery charge level, but this is becoming more common on newer accessories.
