You can install GIMP on a Intel or AMD based ChromeOS device by running the following on the ChromeOS Linux Terminal
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gimp
You can install GIMP on a arm based ChromeOS device by running the following on a ChromeOS Linux Terminal
sudo apt update
sudo apt install gimp
Once the installation of GIMP is complete, you will be able to launch Gimp from the ChromeOS Application Launcher by searching for "GIMP - GNU Image Manipulation Program". It may take a few moments to launch your Linux virtual machine is not already running.
