Getting Started with Google Play Books
To begin your journey with Google Play Books, you can access it on your Chromebook or any other device in two simple ways:
Option 1: Using the Google Play Books App
- Open the Google Play Store on your Chromebook or Android device.
- In the search bar, type Google Play Books and press enter.
- Select the app from the results and click Install.
- Once installed, launch the app and sign in with your Google account to access your library.
Option 2: Accessing Google Play Books via the Web
- Open a web browser and go to Google Play Books.
- Sign in with your Google account to view your library.
- Browse the store, purchase new books, or read items you’ve already added to your collection directly from the browser.
With its cross-platform support, any books or audiobooks you purchase will automatically sync across devices, so you can start reading on one and continue seamlessly on another. If you are a member of a Google Family Sharing Group, any purchase made with the "Family Sharing Payment Method" will automatically be shared with your family group.
