Android Games

The Google Play Store has over a hundred thousand free and paid for games that will work on your ChromeOS Device. Many Android games will also work offline to allow you to play without needing to be connected to the internet. Android games may not be available on managed ChromeOS devices issued by an employer or school, but are available on all modern ChromeOS devices released after 2016.

It is important to note that many Android games will be designed with a touchscreen in mind and may not perform well on Chromebooks that lack touchscreens. Several Android games are also not designed to take advantage of keyboards. With this said, numerous game developers have added game controller support to their games, which allows users to use several third-party game controllers over Bluetooth or a wired USB connection. Many modern games are also being developed to take advantage of larger screens, such as those found on a ChromeOS device or an Android Tablet.

Several Android games also integrate with Google Play Games, which allows you to save your game states between devices such as a mobile phone, tablet or Android TV box.
